Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hamide Özyürek is a faculty member at the Department of Business Administration, Ostim Technical University. She became a Certified Public Accountant in 2004 and worked as an accounting manager in private companies. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Anadolu University, a master’s degree from Ufuk University, and a PhD from Kırıkkale University. Her doctoral dissertation was titled “Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing: An Application in the Manufacturing Sector.”

She has numerous publications in national and international journals and has presented her work at conferences in various countries, including Hong Kong, Italy, and Switzerland. In 2013, she participated in a project in Germany titled “Improving Professional Skills on EU Tax Practices and Tax Audits.” Within the Erasmus teaching mobility program, she taught various accounting courses in 2016 at the Technical University of Košice in Slovakia.

Her main research areas are cost accounting and management accounting. Having started her academic career in 2007, she was awarded the title of Associate Professor in accounting in 2020.
